Florida, March 25 -- Tiger Woods says he is "trying to play" in next month's Masters after returning to action for the first time in more than a year as his team lost in the final round ofthe TGL season.

The 50-year-old, who has had a series of operations in the last two years, had been sidelined since having an operation in October to replace a disc in his back.

Woods' previous appearance was also in TGL - an indoor team league his company co-founded - in February 2025, according to BBC sport.
