Kolkata, March 6 -- Globally women suffer from anxiety and depression twice as men, a published study report said on Thursday.
In India, anxiety and depression account for 36.6 percent of all suicides, with young women aged 18-39 most vulnerable (National Crime Records Bureau). Yet, stigma and societal taboos continue to prevent them from seeking help, the report iterated.
