Hyderabad, Nov. 24 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday said that lasting economic progress in Telangana is possible only when women and girls lead secure, self-reliant and dignified lives.

Speaking at a public meeting at Kodangal in Vikarabad district, shortly after laying the foundation stone for several developmental works in the region, he said his government is implementing a series of programmes aimed at empowering women and strengthening education, agriculture and infrastructure across the state.
