Ranchi, Sept. 3 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jharkhand State General Secretary and MP Pradeep Verma has accused the Hemant Soren-led government of ignoring critical issues such as women's safety and corruption, while focusing instead on initiatives aimed at cheap popularity.
On Tuesday, Verma said, " Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), which has been in power for the last six years, has failed to ensure the formation of a Women's Commission. This government is busy patting its own back by highlighting the Displacement Commission and Sahitya Kala Academy, but the safety, dignity, and honor of sisters and daughters are not its priorities.
"The attitude of the India alliance towards women is evident to the people of the state," he said.
