Patna, Jan. 6 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha today said that the dream of a developed India and a prosperous Bihar cannot be realised without the active participation and contribution of women.
Addressing the "Matri Shakti Abhaar, Foundation of a Prosperous Bihar" programme, Sinha said here that the government is making continuous efforts to empower women, and the impact of these initiatives is now visible on the ground. Referring to ancient sayings, Sinha said here that divinity resides at the place where women are respected.
The Deputy Chief Minister said such programmes strengthen the collective resolve to build a prosperous and developed Bihar.
