Shimla, Sept. 25 -- The Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Women has taken serious cognizance of the rape allegations levelled against a young Himachal Administrative Service (HAS) officer posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Una district.
Commission Chairperson Vidya Devi today said she had called up Superintendent of Police, Una, and directed him to conduct a fair investigation into the matter. "The SP has assured me that legal action will be taken and the culprit will not be spared under any circumstances," she said.
