Ghaziabad/Sahibabad, Aug. 30 -- The Naari Shakti Organization in Sahibabad has renamed Pannu Chowk, located at Shalimar Garden Extension-2, as 'Operation Sindoor Tiranga Chowk', in what the group described as a symbolic act of women's empowerment and patriotism.
The event, led by the organization's president Reema Verma, began with a cleanliness drive at the square, followed by the hoisting of the Tricolour.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers, police personnel from Shalimar Garden police station, local residents, women, and children participated in the celebration. Cultural events and felicitation of police personnel were also held.
