Nanded, Oct. 27 -- A 45-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her boyfriend in Patoda village of Kinwat taluka, Nanded district, after she repeatedly refused his demands for marriage, police said on Monday.
The victim, identified as Mangal, had been in a relationship with the accused, Krishna Jadhav. According to officials, the two often quarreled over Jadhav's persistent insistence on marriage, which Mangal had consistently declined.
The fatal confrontation occurred when Jadhav visited Mangal's house and an argument broke out over the same issue. In a fit of rage, he allegedly strangled her to death before fleeing the scene.
The incident came to light when Mangal's mother found her daughter unresponsive and alerted police. ...
