Hardoi, Jan. 12 -- A shocking incident occurred in Hardoi where a man shot and killed his wife inside the premises of a police station on Monday morning. The incident has raised serious questions about security lapses within the police station.
According to police, the woman, identified as Soni, had eloped with her lover Surjeet, a resident of Shahjahanpur, five days earlier. After learning about this, her husband Anoop filed a complaint at the police station on January 8.
Police had been searching for the woman since then and finally traced her along with her lover on Sunday, and brought them to the police station.
