Thiruvananthapurm, May 14 -- The membership of Advocate Beyline Das, who allegedly physically assaulted a young woman lawyer working at his office, has been suspended by the Trivandrum Bar Association.
Police filed a case against Das practising at Vanchiyoor Court following the incident as the woman lawyer is undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital here.
Police said Das brutally attacked the woman lawyer and also struck her on the face during a discussion on office-related matters on Tuesday afternoon.
Trivandrum Bar Association President Advocate Pallichal SK Pramod said the woman lawyer is being given all kinds of assistance after the issue came to light.
