Woman killed by co-worker in a restaurant in Meghalaya

Shillong, Feb. 28 -- A 41-year-old woman who worked in a restaurant here in Meghalaya was killed by a co-worker, police said on Friday.

The victim was identified as Damonica Laloo, working as a cleaner at the Trattoria restaurant, Central Ward Barik Lachaumiere, was allegedly killed by Sunai Singh on Thursday night, who is a co-worker in the restaurant, police said.

Batskhem Suting, the owner of the restaurant, alerted the police that one of his lady staff was suspected to be murdered on the ground floor of the restaurant.
