Faridkot (Punjab), April 24 -- An MBBS doctor pursuing her internship at the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital (GGSMCH) in Faridkot was found hanging by her neck on Wednesday, Punjab police said.
Identified as Dr Anushka of Faridkot, the police said she was reportedly under stress as she prepared for her masters degree (MD). In case of a suicide the reason is still not clear though, the police added. They have taken the body into custody and sent it for autopsy. Further investigation was underway.
