Mumbai, April 4 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday ordered a thorough probe into the death of a women who allegedly did not received proper treatment at Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital.
Tanisha Bhise's death is "very unfortunate" and the government has taken serious note of it, said Pawar in his media statement.
The Health Department has ordered the probe to be completes immediately, transparently and impartially.
Although the hospital administration has expressed its views before the media, the government will thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action. The government has understood the feelings of the individuals, institutions and organizations protesting about this incident.
