New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- In a tragic incident, a woman jumped to her death in Delhi's Rohini area on Friday evening, Police said.
He said that her body was recovered several hours later.
The incident was reported from the Sector 15 area of Rohini.
After receiving the PCR call, a team from the KN Katju Marg police station was sent to the spot.
"The callers reported that a woman had fallen into a drain near JND College, Sector 15, and was drowning. The second call stated that the woman was stuck in the drain and was alive, requiring immediate help," said a senior police official.
The Fire Brigade and other rescue teams were also pressed into service to save the woman.
