Bareilly, Sept. 6 -- A bizarre case has come to light in Bareilly, where a young woman has been arrested for allegedly attempting to extort Rs 15 lakh from a man by threatening to falsely accuse him of rape.
The incident occurred in the Rampur Bagh area, and the accused has reportedly been harassing the man and his family for the past two months.
According to the victim, Trijeet Agrawal, the woman repeatedly created disturbances outside his residence, using abusive language, recording videos, and demanding money under threats of implicating him in a false rape case.
