Raebareli, Dec. 21 -- A woman Booth Level Officer (BLO) was allegedly murdered with a sharp weapon on Saturday in Raebareli's Lalganj police station area. The accused, identified as a local resident, later died after consuming poison, police said.
The incident took place in Jagatpur Bhichkaura village. The victim, Seema (38), a Panchayat Mitra and BLO, lived with her three children-Virat (10), Chunmun (9) and Veeru (6). Her husband works in Pune.
According to police, Seema was alone at home preparing lunch around 1 pm when the accused, Ram Sumer, entered her house. After a brief conversation, he allegedly attacked her with a sharp-edged tool kept in the house, killing her on the spot. After the incident, Ram Sumer fled the scene. Seema's ...
