Mumbai, March 29 -- A 58-year-old woman was arrested at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after she triggered panic by shouting that a bomb had been planted on a flight, police said on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 10 am on March 25 at Gate 51 during boarding for IndiGo flight 6E 355 (Mumbai-Delhi).
According to the FIR lodged at Sahar Police Station, the accused, Shanti Kothari, began yelling, "Don't go on the Ghaziabad flight, there's a bomb in it," alarming passengers and airline staff.
An airline staffer on duty at the gate, who was making routine boarding announcements, filed the complaint.
