Kadapa, Feb. 11 -- A woman and his son were electrocuted when they came in contact with high-tension electric wire at their agriculture field at Guntapallai village in B Koduru Mandal on Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased Kuraku Guramma (60) and her son K Jayaram (48) went to their agriculture field located near the Telugu Ganga canal on the outskirts of the village. When they were watering the crop, the electric motor stopped running. Jayaram tried to carry out some repairs to the electric motor, and in the process, he came in contact with a high-tension wire and was electrocuted. Guramma went to the rescue of her son and she was also electrocuted.
