Nashik, Sept. 18 -- A 28-year-old married woman committed suicide in a well along with her two-year-old daughter in Songaon in the Dindori taluka of the district yesterday.
According to Dindori police, the deceased are identified as Sugandha Somnath Gawli (28) and Neha Somnath Gawli (2). Girl Neha was found dead, tied to her mother's waist with a scarf in a well in Songon in the Dindori taluka.
It is preliminarily believed that the mother committed suicide with her daughter. Dindori police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway by the police in this regard.
The police rushed to the spot, took the body into custody, conducted a post-mortem examination and handed over the body to the relatives.
