Dimapur, Dec. 22 -- Wokha DC Vineet Kumar on Monday issued a fresh directive to regulate parking and ensure emergency access in Wokha town, aimed at improving urban mobility, ensuring public safety, and enhancing disaster preparedness.
The order, issued in continuation of an earlier notification, highlighted the urgent need for a regulated parking system in light of the rapid increase in the number of vehicles and the limited availability of public space in the town.
Kumar said several commercial structures have emerged in recent years without adequate parking provisions for customers and staff.
