Ranchi, Oct. 15 -- The winter season has begun to make its presence felt across the state as temperatures continue to dip across several districts, including the state capital, Ranchi.
Despite bright sunshine during the day, chilly mornings and evenings have brought a noticeable drop in temperatures, marking the onset of winter.
In Ranchi, people were seen wearing shawls and light jackets during early morning walks, while cold winds in the evening, particularly after 6 p.m., added to the wintry feel.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a further fall in temperatures over the coming days.
