Umsaw Khwan, March 28 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said the "war" against the drug cartel would be won, although it's a long-drawn battle.
"This is a big menace (drug menace) and there are various modus operandi for the drug traffickers, and I think if we keep on collectively attacking the drug cartel, we are going to win the war. Every state is working, and I think we have lots of things to do, we have to do more, and we will do more," Sarma told reporters on the sidelines of a programme at the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) here in Meghalaya
Asked if the North Eastern States should have joint task force to eradicate drug mafias, the Assam Chief Minister said, "States coming together under the leadership of ...
