Nawada, Aug. 19 -- RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav today declared that his party would back Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as PM candidate in next Lok Sabha elections.
Yadav made the announcement in a public meeting here during Voter Adhikar Yatra being led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Ongoing Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of Electoral Rolls had jeopardized the right to franchise to millions of voters due to large-scale irregularities and Gandhi vigorously raised the issue to protect democratic rights of the people, he added.
