Jalgaon, Jan. 26 -- The Maharashtra government has taken important steps to attract tourists to the Pal Wildlife Sanctuary in the district and to modernise the district police force with the funds available from the District Planning Committee (DPC). An official press statement issued on Sunday stated that five new tourist vehicles have been made available for convenience of tourists in Pal Wildlife Sanctuary so that they can see tigers, leopards, bears and other wildlife within a 27 km area. Due to this new initiative, tourism in the district will get a big boost and employment has been provided to 12 local tribal youths.
