Varanasi, May 3 -- Ankita Singh, wife of businessman Manish Singh who was beaten to death on April 26 in the Phulpur police station area of UP's Varanasi district over a minor dispute, has demanded an encounter of the accused. Four of the accused have applied to the court to surrender.
Manish Singh was returning home from his factory on the night of April 26 when his car struck a woman in Ghamghapur village. The woman was injured, sparking a commotion among villagers and family members. The minor dispute quickly escalated. Manish Singh was attacked with bricks, stones, and sticks.
