Varanasi, April 9 -- Khushboo Singh, wife of Sandeep Singh, former national general secretary of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, has alleged an attempt to kill her husband by slow poisoning for the past over one year.
On Wednesday night, based on Khushboo Singh's complaint, Kotwali police registered a case against unknown persons under Section 109(1) of the BNS and initiated an investigation.
Khushboo Singh, a resident of Lalghat in the Kotwali police station area, stated in her complaint that her husband Sandeep owns two transport companies and supplies materials for road construction projects.
