Shillong, June 26 -- In an incident bearing eerie similarities to the murder of an Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvansh, a man was allegedly killed in a remote village in Meghalaya's West Garo Hills district by his wife, her paramour, and her two brothers, sources said today.

The incident came to light when Oman Marak, brother of the victim, lodged an FIR on May 7 informing the police about the death of his brother Pirot R Marak under suspicious conditions.

Pirot, a farmer by profession, was killed by his wife Nennen R Marak, her paramour Reknan K Sangma, and her two brothers on April 15 at Rengigre village under Raksamgre Civil Sub-Division, Thurendro Ch Sangma, the uncle of the victim Pirot, told UNI.
