Shimla, May 10 -- Himachal Pradesh witnessed widespread light to moderate rainfall in the past 24 hours, with several mid and high hill regions recording significant precipitation.

According to the Meteorological Centre Shimla, Shillaroo in Shimla district recorded the highest rainfall at 43.6 mm, followed by Jubberhatti with 34.5 mm and Kataula in Mandi district with 28.3 mm.

Other prominent rainfall figures include Rajgarh (27 mm), Jatton Barrage (22 mm), Mandi (21.2 mm), Sarahan (19.5 mm), Dadahu (19 mm), and Narkanda (16 mm). Shimla town received 12.4 mm of rainfall, while Chopal recorded 10 mm.
