Dhaka, Oct. 20 -- West Indies Cricket today announced changes to its One-Day International (ODI) squad for the remaining matches against Bangladesh, with Akeal Hosein and Ramon Simmonds drafted in as replacements.
The changes come after Shamar Joseph and Jediah Blades were ruled out of the series due to injuries. Blades has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lower back, which will prevent him from participating in the upcoming matches.
Joseph, meanwhile, had reported discomfort in his shoulder during the first training session ahead of the opening ODI in Dhaka. Following a detailed medical scan, he has been advised to consult a specialist in England to begin the rehabilitation process.
