Lucknow, April 22 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati on Monday questioned Sadhvi Pragysa's candidature despite being accused in Malegaon blast case.
Ms Mayawati tweeted "BJP candidate from Bhopal and Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya claimed that she was fighting for religion. This is real face of BJP and RSS which is exposed now. It was suspicious that EC was just issuing notice rather to cancel her nomination."
She further wrote that even after wide criticism, if EC is not taking satisfactory actions then it is a matter of concern. She alleged that PM Modi and his party was responsible for such falling standards.
