Chenna, Dec. 27 -- Human Rights Are an Everyday Essential - Not a Privilege, according to Dr S K Saamy, Chairman of World Human Rights Commission and Rescue Centre (WHRC) and a Supreme Court.
The WHRC organised a Human chain agitation today at Ellitots Beach in the city during which UDHR Act books were distributedacross Tamil Nadu.
Reaffirming that Human Rights are not optional, but an everyday essential for every citizen, the WHRC has embarked upon this state-wide human rights awareness mission by distributing Rs 2,50,000/- UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights) Act books across Tamil Nadu.
