New Delhi, Dec. 8 -- At the second World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Summit on Traditional Medicine in New Delhi, from December 17 to 19, India is expected to seek commitments from over 20 participating countries, senior government officials said, without detailing the specific demands.
Highlighting the outcome of the first summit held in Jamnagar in 2023, Ayush Secretary Rajesh Kotecha stated that the Gujarat Declaration, prepared by the WHO following consultations with stakeholders, has been integrated into the global roadmap for traditional medicine for 2025-2034.
