Hyderabad, May 3 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said that government whips act as the "eyes and ears" of the administration and play a crucial role in addressing public issues.
Chairing a meeting with Assembly and Council whips at MCRHRD here, the Chief Minister reviewed key public concerns across the state.
The whips briefed him on drinking water and irrigation needs in constituencies amid the summer season, as well as the progress of paddy procurement.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to speed up the procurement process and take necessary steps to resolve related issues.
He instructed the whips to stay closely connected with the people and work towards resolving their problems on a regular basis.
