Una (HP), Feb. 21 -- The Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation has been appointed as the nodal agency for the purchase of wheat from farmers in Una district from April 8.
District Controller, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (DFSC), Una, Rajiv Sharma, said on Saturday that wheat procurement from farmers will take place from April 8 to June 15 at the Rampur Grain Market and Takarla Grain Market.
He said the government has set the minimum support price for wheat at Rs 2,585 per quintal, ensuring farmers receive a fair and assured price for their produce. Farmers in the district can register online for the sale of their produce after March 1 on the https://hpapp.nic.in/ portal.
