New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- India's automobile market maintained a strong momentum in the third quarter of FY 2025-26, with the Western Zone emerging as the top-performing region across vehicle categories, according to the latest data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) released here on Friday.
Passenger vehicle (PV) sales touched 12.76 lakh units during the October-December quarter, reflecting a steady consumer demand across urban and semi-urban markets. The Western Zone led the segment with 4.21 lakh units, accounting for a significant share of total sales.
