London, Sept. 27 -- West Ham United have announced the departure of Head Coach Graham Potter, ending his tenure after a difficult run of form that stretched from the latter half of last season into the early weeks of the 2025/26 campaign.

In a statement issued today, the Premier League club confirmed that the decision was made by the Board of Directors, who concluded that results and performances under Potter had failed to meet expectations.

The board expressed the view that a managerial change was necessary to help improve the team's position in the league as quickly as possible.
