Bengaluru, March 11 -- Concerns over possible disruptions in commercial LPG supplies amid escalating tensions in West Asia are prompting India's hospitality sector to explore LPG-free, flame-free induction kitchens as a more reliable and efficient alternative for large-scale cooking operations.

Highlighting the growing dependence of restaurants, resorts, catering units, cloud kitchens and institutional kitchens on LPG cylinders, Dr S N Chandra Mouli, Director of Lorman Kitchen Equipments Pvt Ltd, said any interruption in fuel availability can immediately affect kitchen productivity and service continuity.
