Bengaluru, March 25 -- The escalating West Asia crisis is beginning to alter investment patterns among Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), with early signs pointing to a shift in capital back to India's housing market as expatriates reassess financial security.

"A section of NRIs who earlier preferred to invest and settle in the Middle East are now reassessing their decisions due to rising instability. We are seeing increased inquiries from such customers who want to have a home back in India as a security measure," Ashish R Puravankara, Managing Director, Puravankara Limited, told UNI.
