New Delhi, March 5 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday cancelled Class 10 board examinations scheduled between March 7 and March 11 in conflict-affected Middle Eastern countries.
In a circular dated March 5, the board said, "All examinations for Class 10 scheduled from March 7 to March 11 stand cancelled."The order applies to seven Gulf countries - Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier, CBSE had announced that the Class 10 exams scheduled on March 2, March 5, and March 6 would be postponed. The board has now cancelled these examinations as well.
