Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- A low-pressure area over the southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a well-marked low-pressure area over the same region, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
According to IMD sources, the system is expected to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal, off the north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh coasts, by tomorrow afternoon.
