Shimla, Sept. 9 -- Following the directions of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the notification to remove Rule 7A from the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022 issued on September six, 2025 shall be held in abeyance.
The Chief Minister said that the welfare of employees was a top priority for the state government. Therefore, issuing such orders was not justified.
He stressed that while making amendments in rules and regulations, humanitarian concerns must always be kept in mind.
Earlier today in Shimla, delegations of several employees' associations met the Chief Minister and requested to withdraw the notification.
