Modinagar, Feb. 5 -- The second day of the IWLF National Youth, Junior, and Senior Weightlifting Championships 2025-26 witnessed high-octane action at Yadav Farm House, Modinagar. The Men's 60 kg category took center stage across all three age divisions, featuring a blend of seasoned veterans and emerging young talents.
Senior Men 60 kg: Experience ShinesCommonwealth Games medalist Gururaja Poojari representing Karnataka (KRN) delivered a clinical performance to secure the Gold medal in the Senior category. Poojari finished with a commanding total of 269 kg, buoyed by a top lift of 150 kg in the Clean & Jerk.
