Bhubaneswar, Aug. 11 -- In a major boost to inter-state connectivity, Indian Railways has decided to extend Train No. 20472/20471 Puri-Lalgarh-Puri Weekly Express up to Shri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, with effect from 13th August 2025, from Puri.
This extension will seamlessly connect the Bay of Bengal to the Thar Desert, forging stronger cultural and economic ties between the Eastern State of Odisha and the Northwestern state of Rajasthan.
Sambit Patra, Member of Parliament will flag off the extension of this train in the presence of Sunil Kumar Mohanty, MLA, at Puri Railway Station on August 13.
