Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 10 -- The week-long Onam celebrations in Kerala concluded yesterday evening with a spectacular cultural procession in the state capital, featuring around 150 floats and nearly 10,000 artists who showcased the state's rich classical, folk, and ethnic traditions along with its socio-economic achievements.
The procession, conducted under strict green protocol, allowed people to view the pageantry from multiple vantage points. Among the highlights was the float of the Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society, which promoted women-friendly and village tourism.
