Shimla, Oct. 9 -- The weather in Himachal Pradesh has taken a turn for the worse, and this time, nature has covered the region with a blanket of white. Continuous rain and snowfall have disrupted the life in most parts of the state.
For the past few days, particularly yesterday, heavy snowfall has occurred in the high-altitude mountainous regions, leaving the mountain ranges completely covered in a blanket of white snow.
The effects of the snowfall in the mountains are also being felt in the lower plains and valleys. Intermittent rain has suddenly intensified the cold. Areas such as Kullu have been experiencing light showers since morning, resulting in a significant drop in temperatures.
