Srinagar, Feb. 21 -- Weather conditions in Kashmir improved on Friday after higher reaches received light to moderate snowfall, while the plains were lashed by heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, officials said.

According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, the weather is expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies until February 23.

However, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at scattered places across Jammu and Kashmir on February 24 and 25.

It said that another Western Disturbance is likely to hit and trigger light to moderate rain and snowfall at many places during February 26 to 28 over Jammu and Kashmir.
