Pune, Aug. 2 -- State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said today that the Mahayuti government does not tolerate "dadagiri" (bullying) anywhere in Maharashtra, backing the CM's statement.

"We have clearly instructed both the Pune Commissioner of Police and the Pune Rural Superintendent of Police that if people associated with any political party are harassing industrialists, file cases against them and take action. If they still do not listen after filing three or four cases, then book them under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA)," Pawar said.

The Deputy CM was responding to questions on remarks made by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
