New Delhi/Dhaka, Dec. 11 -- Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin is quoted as saying that he will quit after the elections as he felt humiliated by the Mohamed Yunus-led regime. The Awami League has said it was aware that the country's President was being humiliated by the interim government, and condemned the manner in which his photographs were being removed from all Bangladeshi missions abroad.
Awami League leader and former MP Pankaj Debnath told UNI, "We were aware that the President was being humiliated by the Yunus regime. It is indeed shameful that they have taken off all portraits and photographs of the head of state from Bangladesh missions abroad.
