Guwahati, Aug. 26 -- Close on the heels of Supreme Court issuing notices to the Central Government, the Assam Government and the Register General of India, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that there are some flaws in the NRC and added that steps will be taken at right time to correct the same.

Sarma said this while talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a public rally today.

Blaming the former NRC Coordinator Prateek Hajela, the Chief Minister said that the former NRC Coordinator bluffed and made the people of Assam to believe the same.
