New Delhi, June 22 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday lend support for the Union government's endeavour to secure hosting rights of the 2036 Summer Olympics.
Speaking to the media at the 'Olympic Day run' organised by Indian Olympic Association (IOA) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Sunday, she said, "The Olympic Day was celebrated today in New Delhi, I am very happy that it had such a good turnout, the country is moving towards better infrastructure, facilities and developing better players, and we are ready to host the Olympics in 2036.
